Script Summary:
Dyslexia is a learning disability that affects one's ability to work with language.It is not caused by vision or hearing problems, but from neurological issues inside the brain. The dyslexic person's brain will process written or spoken language differently than non-dyslexics, causing frustration, and an inability to learn at the same pace, in the same environment. People of all intelligence levels suffer from dyslexia.
Hypnosis has been shown to help people that suffer from dyslexia with their ability to learn. This script will help you or your client relax, and focus on learning, instead of focusing on the difficulties you have while learning.
As you hear the words of the script, you begin to feel less frustrated and more understanding of your abilities. Once you have forgiven yourself and accepted yourself, you are ready to learn.
The script encourages you or your client to try learning words in a new way. Instead of viewing the words as letters, you will see them in a way that will disable the dyslexia to confuse you. It encourages your brain to process things for their meaning instead of their parts. This is a way for you or your client to learn differently, in a way that no one may have encouraged you to do in the past because it may have been viewed as wrong or incorrect.
Sometimes people that suffer from learning disorders find themselves wondering why they would ever need to learn some of the concepts they are being taught. They may ask "why will I ever need to know about Moby Dick or Huck Finn" in real life?
This script will help you open your eyes to everything that is out there in the world associated with words and how your ability to read and understand affect your ability to function. You or your client will soon begin to find joy and meaning in reading, instead of only frustration and aggravation.
Because you have developed new ways of approaching studying sessions and reading through hypnosis, you will be excited to learn new things. You or your client will take ownership of your learning, and you will feel independent and confident.
You will have the ability to accept that you are just as capable of learning the same things as everyone else, you just learn it in a different way.
You or your client will accept that you are intelligent and confident, and that your dyslexia simply means you process words differently than most of those around you. Those that are most successful using this script will find themselves accepting and making the most of their challenges, possibly even excelling in ways they never thought possible.
