People with BDD often try to avoid social situations and they can be prone to depression and anxiety.

This disorder often starts during adolescence when appearance sensitivity is at its height.

Although the exact cause of BDD is often unknown, hypnotherapy can help to change our thought processes at a subconscious level.

Once your clients truly believe that they look fine - as others tell them they do - their BDD will be a thing of the past and they can concentrate on enjoying life.
