Bipolar (Mood Swings) Relaxation Hypnosis Script

Bipolar is a disorder usually characterized by extreme mood swings, severe depression to the point that a sufferer may attempt or consider suicide; sleep disorder can often escalate these feelings - and on the other end of the scale the person suffering from bipolar can claim to be feeling on top of the world.

This script has been written by popular request, however any Hypnotherapist should keep in mind the potential severity of the problem and ensure that their client has also sought expert medical help and - if possible - work alongside the client's psychiatrist or psychologist.

Having extensively researched this disorder we have learned that some bipolar sufferers may be helped with the use of hypnotherapy or behavioral approaches - however this appears to depend on the severity of the problem as well as the subject's expectations (which is often the case with many other issues).

Various symptoms are experienced with people who have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder - not everyone displays the exact same symptoms - however the most common one is Mood Swings so the script has been written as an approach to the severity of these mood swings.

Most of us suffer from mood changes on a regular basis - we can feel good one day and really down on another - for no apparent reason - however we don't consider this to be a risk situation because we realize that these feelings will be gone soon.

With Bipolar (I believe) the sufferer can become caught up in their moods - to such a degree that they don't realize that this is a natural pattern of life.
