I have a client that needs total knee replacment, but his Dr. told him he was to young to have it done now and that it would probably only last him about 5 years. I think the real reason the Dr. wants to wait is because my client is over weight by about 100 lbs. We have done weight loss sessions and they are helping he has lost 22 lbs in about 6 weeks. I dont want to cause any more damage to his knee but the man is in terrible pain. I was able to aleveate the pain to where he could move more freely but then the knee would swell and I had to remove the suggestions. I now have it so he has no pain while sitting or lying down. This is working so he is pretty much pain free during those times and is able to sleep without any pain medicine. Is there any thing I can do To help with the pain while he is up walking around and to keep it from swelling without causing more damage to this knee.

Hi Jackie. <p>It sounds as though youre doing a wonderful job with your client. However he is still about 78 lbs overweight so this is going to put a lot of pressure on his knee whilst hes walking. Im not sure what others would suggest but I think Id continue with the weight loss sessions to allow him to lose even more weight. Alternatively there is a script called Edema which you might be able to adapt to reduce the swelling.

I have a clientthat came to me for weight loss. She relaxes well and I thought by her breating she had entered at least a light state of hypnosis, but she didnt think she had. She could remember everything that was said. I told her that this was possible in a light hypnotic stte, but she thought because she was hearing other sounds that were going on like the wind blowing, and the windows rattling, the furnace starting and other every day sounds that she wasnt under. If she wasnt under what do I need to do to get her under and to a deeper state. Ive used the candle induction and the stair case deepener and easy weight loss script. IIf you have any suggestions that can help me to get her to reach a deeper hypnotic state where she feels like she is in a hypnotic state, I would appreciate any help. This is the first client Ive had that didnt think the were in a hypnotic state

Hi Jackie could you let me know what you used to help this client? I have a 16yr old with arthritis in both knees and is struggling to do her exams and stay in school. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joanne
