Blushing?

I have a client who blushes chronically its taking over her life so far we have had two sessions where I have concentrated on her confidance and her blushing has imrpoved but she says whenever she drinks alcohol her face and neck go bright red straight away and she gets very hot i dont think this is blushing it sounds like she is having a hot flush due to drinking then she has to go home because she cant stand going red like this... I think she had two different issues going on I have helped with general blushing but dont know what to do about the flushing hope someone can help she is 30yrs old

Hi Helen <p>I think you are right that this is a reaction to the alcohol, especially if it only occurs whilst she is drinking. If as she says the blushing is taking over her life then perhaps she should quit the drinking for a while to see if it makes any difference. Maybe you could discuss this option with her?

I would definately stop the drinking and suggest it as an experiment. I am currently dealing with a man who blushes and I am his last resort before surgery. Other than self confidence - are there any standard techniques to stop blushing?
