Equipment to record scripts onto cd, mp3

Does any one use any products which allows you to record scripts on cd, mp3 players to include backgroud music etc.

Hi Darren, I have been searching for something that would play unto cd for many years and as yet not success. I did purchase a machine called the HYPNOKE but it was nothing more than a mixer and you still needed a cd recorder, Nope, the search goes on.

This is very simple. I use an Olympus WS-110 didcaphone, with clip on mic. I simply plug this in to my lap top, upload onto hard disc, use some freebie software to make it into MP3 if needed, and then download onto CD for the client, or their ipod or similiar. Clarity is excellent for what I paid for it. <p>Regards Mike

I also use the Olympus digital WS-110 costs about £65. i have never used the mike !, i just stand the recorder on top of my desk and record myself--was very self conscious at first !! i then put onto computer and then onto blank cds bought cheap off the internet at about 10p each,then print off with free cd label software basic label on cheapest cd labels at about 5p each. Clients are then given cd to get used to me ! between sessions and they all report happily back.

There is a great FREE piece of software called Audacity with which you can record directly onto your laptop during a session. Just plug in an external mic to the laptop and hit record on the software. You can then burn a cd in a few minutes from within the program. I also use it for creating booster/reinforcing cds or mp3s. <p> <p>http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

If you have a pc its sooooooo easy, you can even use subliminal messages, stereo confusion, reverse messages, background music, anything. If you are still looking for a way to make your cds let me know and I will explain all.

The boy doesnt remember anything about nightmares and is only reminded about them by mother. He has responded well to nlp to help him relax to get to sleep but mum says he is still up during the night. How would you approach this? I dont want him to become reliant on a CD at his age. Thanks again.

hi I have a cd recorder with a boundry mic it is a coomber it is great it allows you to record straight to cd no computer needed

Hi, really struggling with CDs at present, was contemplating the hypnoke until I saw the reviews, I am not computer savvy, so anything that is easy to use!!

have you tried a thing called thumbs up . according to the hype its just one record button then you down load on to the PC. its small like a memory stick , my daughter has ordered me one as a pressie from amazon

I also use Audacity, brilliant, easy, record full session or record narration then import music into the program, instantly puts both together, easy also to alter volume on music and narration separately. Great for using induction and deepener saving it then adding different therapies afterwards
