I have seen a lot of his work ............. is this a show? I know about hypnotism and hypnotherapy being different, but clients who come to me expect me to touch them and say sleep and they are under. I have explained on so many occassions that this is not the way it works, but its what they expect!

Hi Maria I find that a lot of people expect hypnotherapy to be like that - even when youve explained thoroughly during a pre-induction talk. Some will go almost instantly into a hypnotic trance but I find they are in the minority.

Hi Faith, i know what you mean, i have a client who seems to go into a trance within seconds of her seeing me lol, i just wish people would understand that hypnotherapy isnt like that, like you say, no matter how much i try to tell them that i wont click my fingers and they will be under, but they still think they will be. With Paul though, yes i do agree that he is a very good hypnotist, although, ................. he does make people assume that we are in charge of their minds. This can cause a problem!
