Audio recordings

Hi, could anyone help with an idiots guide to recording MP3 format audios using audacity using a standard PC please - or direct me to one? Many thanks, Joanne

HI Joanne, I also tried using audacity to record but found it very complicated, I now use recordpad which you can download easily and is just soooooo simple to use, it costs about £20 i think but has saved me so much time it is well worth it. It has a simple press the red dot to record and saves ecverything automatically for you. its also ealsy to then compress into an mp3 file. Very self explanatory, good luck!

Joanne, I have found Nero 7 Premium is excellent. It allows you to record simply in any format. Hope this helps.

Hi Joanne Im not on here very often, but I intend to be on here more often from now - so if youre difficultys sorted then great! Once youve finished your recording(s) in Audacity, go to File/Export...youre given an option to Save As type, using the drop down menu select MP3 Files. Be aware of/note where the file is saved, so you can retrieve it from Windows Explorer, etc. And that it, Oliver
