Fear of navel - belly button

A woman phoned me today, asking for help - she has a fobia for belly buttons. She panics if she sees one, - her own or other peoples. She cannot go to the beach or to pools, public baths etc. ANyone who has treated this kind of fobia before? I would appreaciate any ideas or suggestions. Thanks!

Hi Hanne Thanks for your post. Ive heard of this fear before but never treated anyone with it. If it were my client I would use regression to take her back to the onset and find out what caused it. Once you know this you can re-frame the experience or work through it with her.
