Time Frame

I would like to know what resource I can look at that can tell me how many sesseions are required for each issue.

There is no particular time frame or number of sessions that you can say are needed for a particular issue. Smokers can be dealt with in one or two, phobias maybe a few more. Experience is the key. Confidence in your abilities is the primary tool. Dont go near a client if you have any doubts, your doubt will transmit to the client. Your question does indicate lack of experience.... But dont worry, weve all been there. Find a local therapist who might let you sit in on a session or even mentor you. I read everything I get my hands on. Watch every video I can, even stage hypnosis shows. If you are based in the UK and you want to chat. Give me a call on 07710-857852. Im NGH certified and have access to training materials etc.

Thanks for the response unfortunately I am in Canada. I do have lack of experience in this field,but yet not the confidence as I am a medium and a healer. Any other suggestions?

Hi Lesley. Check out some training. I know its a bit of a distance but The Eastburn Hypnotherapy Center in Colorado do a course that will leave you with an NGH Certification. That also means you will be able to access all of their materials etc. Drake Eastburn is a wonderful teacher. email him at drake@hypnodenver.com Tell him that Steve Lipton passed on his details. They may do distance learning. I travelled from Ireland and did the intense version.
