I have a client with diabetes and he is just eats far too much sweet things. I have hypnotised him twice and we are making very slow progress but his sugar is out of control. Next step is insulin and he doesnt want this. He is 76, not overweight and is a retired gentleman. Sugar problem goes back to when there was a shortage of sugar as a chile in the war. The sugar became available and he has been overeating it ever since. Any suggestions

There are lots of ways to go. What tack have you taken with him so far? Maybe he needs a good scare? Use a crossroads scenario, the wrong route shortening lifespan, dependance on drugs, potential amputation and being in the care of others for getting around and the loss of dignity that would would cause. The right route continued health freedom to get about, independence etc Hope this gives you some ideas Regards Steve

The first time I had a booking for a client with diabetes I sourced some great material from an American hypnotherapist who was also diabetic and I found the information and therapies included in that material to be extremely effective. Over the past 6 years I have worked with a number of clients with diabetes who have "out of control" sugar levels. Although working with each client is different I have found that by including a therapy for chocolate and sweet things in their session, has helped considerably in bringing the sugars under control. One of my "sweet tooth" clients had a recorded sugar level of 25 and within two weeks of her session she had gained considerable control and it had reduced at that point to 8.5 and continued to drop as the weeks went by.
