In his own words...
I
first came across hypnosis in a comic book when I was around 11 years old. The
hero, a gunfighter, was hypnotized and sent to rob a bank, with instructions to
kill anyone who got in his way.
He went off and started to rob the bank but suddenly his subconscious mind
wouldn’t let him do it – so he snapped out of the trance and went back and
rounded up the bad guys.
Fascinating stuff for an 11 year old, fancy being able to control someone else’s
mind and get them to do whatever you wanted them to (do the initials D B ring
any bells??)….
I was hooked – I read everything I could get my hands on and even bought one of
those cheap 1960’s “home courses” for wannabee hypnosis practitioners (not
hypnotherapists).
Needless to say it was doomed to failure and my chosen career as a toolmaker
became uppermost in my mind. Anyway, long story short – I never lost the
fascination with mind control.
However, I did eventually learn that hypnosis was there to help people overcome
a multitude of ailments – not to control them.
So I studied with various “schools” of hypnotherapy avidly learning all they had
to teach, and now, 25 years later, I still can’t learn enough.
I have numerous qualifications which I don’t flaunt because I believe that every
client is unique and deserves my full and undivided attention to help resolve
their problems.
I’ve spent over 25 years resolving problems - and I still get a kick out of
being able to help somebody overcome a problem that they see as detrimental to
themselves.
And since I learnt EFT it’s even faster - and easier…
