The
Professional Hypnotherapy Course can lead you to a new and exciting career as
a hypnotherapist. The modules contained in this Diploma Course may be
purchased individually.
Practical tuition is offered to all students, though
you are not required to attend. The examination is free for students
who complete the question papers that accompany the first
seven modules. Question papers are returned to
provide valuable feedback for you.
Module One
This first module takes you through a brief history of
hypnosis and introduces you to the subconscious mind and an understanding of
Freud's theory of character formation. You will learn to recognize some of
the subtle signs of hypnosis and we take you step by step through a first
session of hypnosis. In addition you will gain an understanding as to how
the subconscious mind accepts suggestions and how to bypass conscious
awareness when communicating in hypnosis. Included with

Module Two
Module Two
teaches you about the rules of analysis and explains how to deal with common
effects such as abreaction, resistance, transference and neurosis. You will
learn methods of dream interpretation and how to formulate hypnotic
suggestions, along with some methods of induction. The causes of phobias
are explained alongside the functions of the subconscious mind.

Module Three
Module Three
covers in greater detail the process of trance
development and how to deepen the hypnotic state. You will learn how to
define the client's problem and how secondary gain can influence the outcome
of therapy. This module covers symptoms of
anorexia, bulimia, obesity, helping survivors of child abuse and multiple
personality disorder. You will learn how to use anchors in hypnosis to
build up self confidence for your clients and will go step by step through
the second session of analysis.
Module Three also includes 2 CDs containing 8 amazing
hypnotic recordings to enable you to experience hypnosis for yourself.

Module Four
Module Four
covers the use of hypnosis with pain control using glove anesthesia and
other techniques, as well as various disorders that your clients are likely
to seek help for. These include anxiety, arthritis, children's allergies,
depression, drug addiction, fears and phobias, irritable bowel syndrome, ME,
obsessive compulsive disorders, skin conditions and sleep disorders, amongst
others. You will learn how to change a client's personal history and the
use of hypnosis for child-birthing.

Module Five
Module Five
covers memory and learning, photo reading techniques, sport and performance
improvement and public speaking. You will learn about age-progression and
regression plus past life regression with hypnosis and other methods such as
the Christos Technique. This module also covers stress management, post
traumatic stress disorder, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR)
and instructions for utilizing self hypnosis.

Six
In Module Six
you will learn several methods of inducing hypnosis with both adults and
children. You will learn how to create amnesia with your subjects and
methods of transferring pain, fractionalization and catalepsy. Problems
likely to arise with children such as hair pulling, nail biting and thumb
sucking are covered as well as the silent (pantomime) technique and the
Esdaile State.

Module Seven covers the use of hypnosis with dentistry,
forensic hypnosis, breast enlargement and infertility. You will learn
precisely how to write and record your hypnosis scripts and promote your own
hypnotherapy business. The legal aspects of hypnotherapy are explained.

NLP and Lüscher Color Testing as well as how do deal with clients with
suicidal tendencies.

Module
Eight contains all the resources that you will
need in your practice, including client assessment forms, how to write press
releases and effective advertisements, introductory letters to GPs,
instructions for clients wishing to use Autogenic Programming, handouts for
clients wishing to stop smoking, details of the quick phobia release and a
list of common questions and answers that you may need for clients who come
to you for help. You will also receive the bound Book of 70
hypnotherapy Scripts.
Examination papers are sent with Module Eight. These can be completed
in your own time in order to gain the Diploma in Hypnotherapy.
